Ridgeline Canine was created after seeing far too many dogs returned to shelters—or even euthanized—when their families felt they had run out of options.

That’s why I have a special place in my heart for the families who have “tried everything.” The ones who deeply love their dogs, aren’t ready to give up, and simply want something better—for their dog and their family.

I’m Jess Pohlman, a certified dog trainer with six years of experience and a soft spot for the reactive, stubborn, dramatic, and misunderstood ones.

I focus on understanding why a behavior is happening—not just stopping it.

We start with an in-home consultation to understand your dog, your concerns, and what’s really going on. From there, I create an individualized training plan and work with you one-on-one to put it into practice.
